a. Popularization of badminton in Sopot and the entire Tricity

January 26, 2024 (Friday) Sports hall in Sopot, ul. Goyki 7 (Centennial Hall)

Games  single  groups of all categories  , without  playing the semi-finals and finals.

time. 7:30-7:50 warm-up time

time. 7.50 – we start the opening ceremony with a speech by the Organizer and Honorary Guests.

time. 8:00 – first games, according to the schedule posted on the website http:/ebadminton.com.pl/

the last games of the day will be played until 22.00 (start of matches), only if necessary

 

January 27, 2024 (Saturday) 8:00 Sports Hall in Sopot, ul. Goyki 7 (Centennial Hall)

Completion of group games in the event that all games are not played on Friday and further tournament matches in accordance with the planned game plan.

Last games of the day played until 22.00 (start of matches) only if necessary.

Singles semi-finals and finals will be played from 11.00

Ceremonial decoration of the singles players immediately after the finals.

Semi-final and final matches of all age categories in doubles and mixed games  

    The ceremonial ending of the tournament, medal decoration and awarding of prizes will take place after all scheduled games have been played.

It is possible to decorate the players after the final match of individual groups during the tournament, but only on January 28 (Sunday) after 12:00

 

Important: entry fees and health declarations entitling you to take part in the tournament will be submitted at the organizer's table on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 to 12:00
 

 

6. AGE CATEGORIES:
• group 0 women (25+) born in 1998 and older
• group 0 men (30+) born in 1993 and older
• group 1 (35+) women and men born 1984-1988
• group 2 (40+) women and men born 1979-1983
• group 3 (45+) women and men born 1974-1978
• group 4 (50+) women and men born 1969-1973
• group 5 (55+) women and men born 1964-1968
• group 6 (60+) women and men born 1959-1963
• group 7 (65+) women and men born 1954-1958
• group 8 (70+) women and men born 1949-1953
• group 9 (75+) women and men born 1944-1948
• group 10 (80+) women and men born until December 31, 1943

 

7. PLAYING SYSTEM:
a. group-cup three-peat in all games.
b. a tournament held in all types of games (SM, SK, DM, DK, MX) in each age category with a minimum number of 3 entries. If the number of entries is less than 3, competitors will be automatically assigned to the younger group.
c. a player can play in a maximum of 2 types of games, but not in 2 age categories of the same game type.
d. an older player may play in a younger category, using the rules for awarding points for place in accordance with the scoring regulations of the national senior list.
e. seeding according to the Senior Badminton Regulations and in accordance with the current national classification list of seniors;

8. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
a. date of birth in accordance with point 6;
b. timely registration for games;
c. payment of the entry fee  : PLN 50 for a single game, PLN 50 for a double game per player;  

Premium Bayjonn package: PLN 100 for singles, PLN 100 for doubles per player,

The  Premium  package is a full-fledged set of attractive  gifts donated by the organizer and sponsors, as well as the opportunity to take part in all attractions and competitions planned during the tournament.

d. having current sports and medical examinations or submitting a declaration confirmed by the participant's signature that there are no health contraindications to participation in the tournament;
e. having the prescribed equipment (including shuttlecocks) and sports clothing.

 

In the event of an epidemiological threat, the current Regulation of the Prime Minister and the sanitary regime should be complied with.

9. GAMES ENTRIES:
a. applications for all games should be submitted on the application form available on the website http://eBadminton.com.pl/.
b. players registering for the tournament are obliged to provide:
• name and surname, year of birth, type of game, doubles partners;
• and optionally, they may provide: a declaration of playing in a younger age category, a request for additional seeding without a club, other information (e.g. telephone number).

10. GAMES REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
until January 19  2024 (Friday) at 22:00

11. PUBLICATION OF THE DRAW AND GAME SCHEDULE:
January 21, 2024 (Sunday) 12:00

13. TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
Included in the senior classification list.

14. PRIZES:
The first four in each age category will receive medals, and the winners will receive gold statuettes. The medals and statuettes were made especially for the occasion Bayjonn  Premium Cup  Seniors 2024.

15. ACCOMMODATION:
a. For those interested, Hotel Bayjonn, for room  1 or 2  person Classic price start  from PLN 399/day + breakfast PLN 50/person  and other room categories: Lux, Delux, Superior, Deluxe Premium, Apartment. 16. FOOD:
Paid catering in the hall at the catering point.
For the Premium Package, the organizer provides coffee and tea and cookies .

Each participant of the Premium package will take part in a draw for valuable prizes donated by the organizer, partners and sponsors.

17. SERVICE AND EQUIPMENT STAND:
During the tournament, it will be possible to purchase sports equipment and use the stringing of Li-Ning rackets.
 

18. FINAL PROVISIONS:
a. the tournament is conducted in accordance with the Senior Badminton Regulations and the Sports Regulations

b. The tournament takes place without referees

c. The order of darts for the 2023-2024 season, announced by PZBad, applies.
d. Disputes are decided by the main judge, Marek Krawczyk.

e. The organizer is not responsible for the health condition of the competitors

20. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The organizer provides numerous attractions and surprises during the Bayjonn Premium Cup Serniors 2024 Tournament.

For Premium Package players

During the tournament, the second edition of the "My favorite player of the X Bayjonn Premium Cup Seniors 2024" selection will be held. The winner will be recognized and receive    a specially designed star cast in brass  with his name and surname framed in granite, which will be permanently placed in the sidewalk of the Bayjonn Sopot Hotel between the Badminton World Walk of Fame.
